L’Art de Marie is an invitation to slow down.

My process is free, instinctive, without rules.

I paint without overthinking (at least, I try to!). Textures come alive with the brush or palette knife, creating organic, lively, almost meditative movement.

To me, shades of beige (sometimes considered "simple") are anything but cold.

They are enveloping, comforting, and deeply warm.

Because art can be a refuge. Because it can soothe, accompany, comfort. Because it can remind us to breathe... and to feel.
